Little Free Libraries Walk at Top of Queen Anne
We three CAI-ers (Marta Colozzi and Laura Enstrom with Leader Kathy Biever) enjoyed a lovely sunny spring day for our Little Free Libraries Walk on Queen Anne. We visited 13 Little Free Libraries where we all deposited and took away books. Problem was to not take away more than we deposited. Keeping a net zero exchange was challenging!
Bonuses along the way: a cat and mouse weather vane, a nifty multi-colored cast iron fence and gate, a shishi odoshi in front of a unique colorful home, and even an April is a Dog’s Dream poem.
At our break at Trader Joe’s we admired the whimsical Dog with Ball Sculpture + 6 mosaics imbedded in the sidewalk, all depicting Queen Anne scenes: the library, old Queen Anne High, etc. And with the Plethora of Purple PHlowers in bloom = wow, what a day!
GOOD TIME HAD BY ALL.
