A Rain Refreshed Hike at Carkeek Park
Hiking at Carkeek Park in Seattle today was especially peaceful after all the recent rain. We began our hike on the North Bluff Trail, where the forest was lush and green. The trail led us through towering trees and along quiet forested stretches.
From there we continued onto the Grand Fir Trail, winding deeper into the woods. The path eventually connected with the South Rim Trail, where birdsong and quiet stretches of forest made for a peaceful walk.
While a portion of the trail was closed for maintenance, it didn’t diminish the experience – just a reminder of how well-loved and cared for this park is.
