Snoqualmie Falls & Big Cedar Trail Report

We started off the day and hit Snoqualmie Upper & Lower Falls … they were showing off as usual – thundering, misty and very picturesque!

From Snoqualmie Falls we continued to Meadowbrook Farm and the Big Cedar Trail (about 3 miles from Snoqualmie Falls), where locating the tree was basically the outdoor version of “Where’s Waldo.” The route was wild – tangled underbrush, prickly bushes, and low hanging branches turning every step into a mini challenge. The group persevered!

We believe we saw the legendary cedar…though it appeared that the top may have snapped off in a storm.

Through all the twists, turns, and tree dodging, Vince Lalli, our hike leader, kept us on track and guided us safely back to the Meadowbrook Trail like a champ.

It was another great day enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest!
