Some of the more adventurous of us may hike up 1,500 feet higher to Eagle Lake - 1.8 miles.
The last 4.5 miles of the 2 1⁄2 - hour drive to the trailhead is on a forest road. We will set up carpools with 4WD cars once a participant list is made.
