This 3-mile, easy to moderate, 300 feet of elevation gain loop trail goes up an undeveloped ravine on the shore of Lake Washington. The trail is along the salmon-spawning Denny Creek and passes what was once one of the largest Douglas firs in King County.
After we complete the loop, we will hike the short Beach Park trail and find a lake-side picnic table for our sack lunches, dessert provided! There is a nice toilet building in the park near the parking lot. Plenty of parking and no pass required.
