Kubota Garden

Kubota Garden is a 20-acre Japanese garden in the Rainier Beach neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. A public park since 1987; it was started in 1927 by Fujitaro Kubota, a Japanese immigrant. Today, it is maintained as a public park by the Seattle Parks and Recreation and the Kubota Garden Foundation.

This is a beautiful garden with a rich history behind it. If you are looking for a great, relaxing and nice stroll, this is for you. The grounds are lush and beautifully cared for. The garden is an urban oasis, crisscrossed with streams and paths, ponds and waterfalls, rich with flora and fauna and a popular destination year-round.

The garden is free and considered an easy 1.5 mile hike. We will be scheduling a guide for those who would like more information and in-depth information about the park.

Specific details will be emailed to those who sign-up.
