We will hike about 2.5 miles along the level paved Sammamish River Trail and back for a total of 5 miles. Starting at Blyth Park we’ll take a detour path back to Red Brick Road Park and check out the historic displays where in 1915 Greek and Italian immigrants laid red bricks over the old Military Road between Seattle and Bothell.

We’ll take the short path back along the Burke Gilman Trail to the Sammamish River Trail. The route parallels the river and traverses several Greenbelt parks.
