Bowling

What to do in the Pacific Northwest when it is a cold, rainy and blustery November day ... go BOWLING!

The sounds of the balls crashing into the pins from other bowlers made our hearts race. After tightening our shoes, we grabbed our bowling balls, one at a time, and placed them on the ball rack. We were moments away from our first throw in many years!

We grabbed the ball and stared down the lanes. We were unsure of the approach, where exactly should we aim, and we could feel the jitters in our hands. Swinging the ball backwards in preparation for an epic throw down the lane, many times we launched the ball directly into the gutter. This action brought great laughter!
