Kingston Adventure Hike Report

On October 8th, 10 CAI-PNW members took the ferry from Edmonds to Kingston. About a half mile walk from the ferry is A Quiet Place Park where we explored the trails through the forest, with a peek-a-view of the water and a nice bench to rest on. Then we walked to Saltair Beach Park, just north of the ferry terminal where we explored the beach. After that it was time for lunch at J’aime Les Crepes. Some hikers had savory crepes, some had dessert crepes and some of us shared crepes (they were gigantic) and had both. The weather was very good for October and we sat in the sun at the picnic tables across from creperie and watched the ferries while we had lunch before taking the ferry back to Edmonds.
